Jim MacInnes is a licensed professional engineer and chairman of Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, MI. Prior to joining Crystal Mountain, he developed renewable power plants in California and worked as a power engineer for Ebasco Services, the company that designed Michigan’s Ludington Pumped Storage facility. He served for ten years as chairman of the Michigan Utility Consumer Participation Board which represents the interests of residential rate payers in electric and gas utility rate cases.
Jim is a life senior member of the electrical engineers professional association, the IEEE; and has testified before both the Michigan House and Senate energy policy committees. He holds BSEE and MBA degrees from the University of California, Irvine and is a member of the Michigan Conservative Energy Forum leadership committee.
