Patrick race
Patrick Race is a long-time environmentalist in Bay City, MI and a founder of the Lone Tree Council that opposed the Midland Nuclear Plant. He created the Climate Stick in 2014 from a Bill McKibben article in Rolling Stone. Over 30,000 Climate Sticks have been given to people. The Climate Stick is adding to its two long time elements (being a symbol of the mass movement to end carbon burning and its replacement with green energy sources and as a teaching tool) with a new program called Our Impossible Dream: 50 enhanced, standardized, deep geothermal systems by 2030. He has an engineering degree from the University of Michigan, has worked for the US Army, General Motors and EDS and is President of a software company.
